Cob fencing- 1st part

This week we've started with the cob work in El Mundo de Gaia. We've started trying out different tecniques so we can select the most suitable one for our treatment cabin that we'll shortly start building. The test has taken a fence shape.. quite handy for keeping the dogs out :-0

There are many techniques for biulding up with cob. The one we've chosen is simple and fast. However, if you are interested in the matter I would suggest you google Professor Minke's manual for bulding with soil. He goes into all kinds of details on the different tecniques. Sorry, but so far we've only got in Spanish (pls refer to the Spanish version of this entry for checking out the link).

Nevertheless, we'll continue our previously set style and just share with you few pics. Well, just for now as we are preparing a video tutorial.

Before I felt in love with the organic green patches-gardens, I was completely unaware (as any other city girl with no countryside connection) of the beauty of he staff I had in my fridge.

So, I've decided to bring these beauties to the light and start a new label of amazing flower for your garden. I'll start with the photos below... do you know who this beauty comes from? No? Ok, I'll give a couple of days before I share the answer.

It's always said that the neighbour's garden is greener than ours. But in my case I doubt it :-) I have no grass or anything like it but I've got plenty of these ...

and they taste much better than grass. I bet!!!

I started few months go this blog and the work on the new year´s green patch. All the postings included are in Spanish as this is my mother's tongue. However, I also want to share with you all that don`t understand Spanish the project and the progress of this new adventure of mine.
