Cob fencing- 1st part

This week we've started with the cob work in El Mundo de Gaia. We've started trying out different tecniques so we can select the most suitable one for our treatment cabin that we'll shortly start building. The test has taken a fence shape.. quite handy for keeping the dogs out :-0

There are many techniques for biulding up with cob. The one we've chosen is simple and fast. However, if you are interested in the matter I would suggest you google Professor Minke's manual for bulding with soil. He goes into all kinds of details on the different tecniques. Sorry, but so far we've only got in Spanish (pls refer to the Spanish version of this entry for checking out the link).

Nevertheless, we'll continue our previously set style and just share with you few pics. Well, just for now as we are preparing a video tutorial.

Bioconstrucción- Vallado - 1ª parte

Esta semana hemos empezado con las obras que planeábamos en El Mundo de Gaia.

Para probar las técnicas que vamos a utilizar en la cabaña de tratamientos, decidimos empezar por unas vallas. 

Hay muchos tipos de técnicas para la bioconstrucción. Nosotros hemos optado por una técnica sencillla y rápida pero si queréis consultar todos los métodos disponibles os recomendamos el siguiente link. El Profesor Minke os detalla mejor que nadie en su manual  los distintos métodos. 

Nosotros, nos limitaremos por ahora a mostraos unas fotitos para abrios el apetito para el tutorial que estamos preparando :-)
